My name is LaTonya S. Johnson, and I am super excited because God has given me an opportunity to start over; and I've fully accepted the invitation. I have been seeking ways to help others via the internet since 2000. I didn’t know the name for it, yet I surely saw the potential even then. In December of last year I received an email from Mike Filsaime. One thing that I can say about Mike is that his emails generally contain information about really good products and services. This particular email pertained to a product called the Offline X Factor. I purchased it, tried it, and still felt like something was missing. That experience lead me to make it a goal to locate a mentor this year, and become a successful internet marketer. I’ve purchased Tim Castleman’s Automated Sales Formula (which didn’t provide enough guidance for a newbie), Adam & Jit’s IMMentors (excellent mentoring), and now Alex Jeffrey’s Marketing with Alex 3.0 (terrific so far).
As I said, this is truly a new beginning.
Since May 2007, I’ve been totally starting over from scratch.
See, I thought that planning cured all ails, yet life has taught me otherwise. From eight (8) years old, I imagined that I would become an engineer. As I matured, I add the following to that dream:
Now I know that life happens, despite the best planning.
See, I’ve been through pure hell over the last eight (8) years. I'm not certain if you have children, but I had my first child in May of 2007. Prior to that, I was never told that pregnancy can make you plumb dumb. Seriously, I could not think clearly enough to even get dressed for church. I would go around in circles until finally, I'd give up and go back to sleep. During this period of dumb stupor, I faced bankruptcy, betrayal, and foreclosure.
During my foreclosure, I had a little money; I just didn't have enough for the mortgage payment one month. When you miss one month, you must make two (2) payments the next month. By the next month I had enough money for one (1) payment but not two; and lenders don’t allow you to make partial payments when you really need to. Well, it quickly began to snowball.
I had spoken to my lender (the operator forwarded the call to the collections department) and requested assistance and they were extremely rude. After that I buried my head because I didn't know that options existed. Now I know that I spoke to the wrong department. A few weeks later, I built up enough courage to call again. This time I was forwarded to the loss mitigation department. The only option that was offered was a repayment plan, with a 25% upfront payment of the delinquent amount. Guess what…I didn't have that at the time. I had just lost my business, my cars, my man and now…my home. After lots of research, I found that most of the people being scammed have paid from $500-$2500 for services; hence some individuals do have money (just not enough to make a mortgage payment).
After going through foreclosure, I began to conduct free seminars at the Power Center to help the community. Then, I decided to write a book and inform readers about the options that lenders and other professionals do not freely provide. They may provide bits-and-pieces of information but rarely do they connect the dots. That's what I did. I think that my book was the most comprehensive book of its kind.
The book wasn’t just for those facing foreclosure; new homeowners would benefit the most because if they ever got into a bind, the information would be readily available. Just like homeowner's insurance. Surely you never want to use it, but it's better to have it just in case.

I understand where you’re at, mostly – not in everything – I’m still waiting for God to bless me with a child, and having to trust in the favour he showed to older women in the bible, so know that He can do it for me, too (I’m no spring chicken, see)!

I love internet marketing! There is a steep learning curve; being that I’m an Engineer who’s taking a shot at marketing (it’s right brain versus left brain stuff).
I have reviewed the Directory of Ezines in the past, yet I’m more focused on list building at the moment. Once I reach my desired income from this avenue, then I’ll venture into others.
I am actually going to post a free copy of my book within this post, and I’ll send you a copy if you’d like.
I also visited your blog, and I like your post. Have you started list building? What exactly are you working on?

Thanks for your response. Trying to build a list with the blog with the help of AWeber. I bought this program sometime ago and am trying to promote it through all of the Social Media avenues! It is all geared toward building The List for auto-responder!
It is truly a steep learning curve in this business; however, seems well worth it if you can put it all together. Weigh and research all of your options so as to avoid getting caught up in the advertising/media exprense. FREE isstill an excellent way to go where possible!
I am pursuing another system involving multiple niche blogs hosted by BrainHost' will be able to add unlimited sub domains to get as large of a market penetration as possible. Will carry AWeber with me for the list building effort as well, (a little left brain; right brain sorta of stuff)!
Once I have at least ten sub-domains in place, I want to market the total package through the DOE Solo Ad market place (Stand Alone Ads to magazine subscription lists). Research the 48-Hour Cash Machine for an understanding of how this works.

I know in my heart that we all have struggles, ups and downs, etc. and try our best to endure. I'm heading down the 'downside road' of life – but I love life so much and I want to do my best to succeed at something.
